Glastonbury, England & Edinburgh, Scotland
5 May – 13 May, 2010

A pilgrimage spot since megalithic times, Glastonbury and the Tor are associated with the mystical isle of Avalon.
The rumored home of King Arthur and Camelot. Like Jerusalem, it has been a holy place for many different traditions.
Hello and welcome to Metatron Travel! The United Kingdom is Metatron Travel’s next adventure to the world’s sacred sites and energy vortexes. In 2008, the red rocks of Sedona, AZ were heart-opening and breathtaking; and in Spring 2009, the beauty of Paris and Bordeaux filled the senses and touched the soul. In August ’09, Metatron’s Melina Carnicelli, mcarnice@roadrunner.com and Liala Strotman, lstrotman@yahoo.com visited Glastonbury to prepare for the 2010 springtime trip to UK with you.
Glastonbury is a quaint township filled with rich legend, history, and tradition from King Arthur and Merlin to Mary Magdalene. On your trip to Glastonbury, you will find an abbey, a chapel, a Tor (hilltop), nearby stone circles, and a peace garden to explore…as well as have time just to be in the energy of the land. In and around Edinburgh you will be simultaneously immersed in the old and the new. Our hotel accommodation is located in Old City Edinburgh in the shadow of grand Edinburgh Castle within walking distance of a modern city centre, and only a few miles from the innovative Falkirk Wheel, the only rotating boat transfer structure in the world. Our full-day excursion just outside of Edinburgh features a guided tour of Rosslyn Chapel, considered to be some of Scotland’s finest architecture, and a private group meditation in the Chapel led by Sheila Applegate. The original plans for Rosslyn have never been found or recorded, so it is open to speculation whether or not the chapel was intended to be built in its current layout. Rosslyn Chapel was founded in the mid-15th century on a small hill above Roslin Glen as a Roman Catholic collegiate church. After the Scottish Reformation in 1560, the Chapel closed to the public and not until 300 years later did it again become a place of public worship…this time according to the rites of the Scottish Episcopal Church. In later years the Chapel has featured speculative theories regarding Freemasonry and the Knights Templar.
After connecting with Anne Pickett & Charlie of Seahorse Journeys in Glastonbury, annelp@live.com.au and Shelia Applegate, www.sheilaapplegate.com from New York, we knew this adventure would be uniquely special. These gifted spiritualists join the trip to help adventurers understand the history and legend of the sacred sites and to interpret their energies for us. Both Anne and Sheila have high-level ability to channel spiritual energy and to lead meditations and ceremony that bring us closer to mother earth and the profound healing energies of these areas. For those interested, Anne and Sheila will be available for private readings.
Follow your heart…and soul…to the UK in May. Contact us immediately to reserve your space. Deposit due December 22, 2009. Group capacity is 17 travelers. We look forward to experiencing UK’s sacred sites and energy vortexes with you.
Enjoy your life and travels,
Liala and Melina

An English Heritage Site, Stonehenge is described as the “eternal mystery.”How it was built, the methods used to move, shape and raise such massive stones and why it was built can still only be guessed at.
